Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a focus on designing packaging and material handling equipment, large systems, and developing shop and fabrication drawings. The role involves working with BOMS and leveraging expertise in mechanical design.
Responsibilities
- Design packaging and material handling equipment.
- Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Handle large systems and create detailed mechanical designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance conveyor systems and machine designs.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Solidworks.
- Experience in machine design and conveyor systems.
- Ability to perform 2D drafting and 3D design.
- Experience in detailing large systems.
- Familiarity with BOMS.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in sheet metal design.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
The role is based in a rapidly growing facility, with temporary workspaces set in a trailer until the new facility is completed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
