We invest in our employeesand build relationships that last.Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to joinour A&BE team as a Mechanical Engineer in our Madison, WI; Milwaukee,WI; Denver, CO; San Diego,CA; or Tampa, FL offices.Responsibilities include:Using 3D BIM software for design, coordination and plan development ofmechanical piping and air systemsPreparing reports and studies related to mechanical systemsSelecting, specifying and estimating costs of mechanical equipmentPerforming load calculations and/or energy analysisConducting periodic construction site inspectionsTravel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for thispositionThe successful candidate must have the following:A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineeringAt least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experienceA PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other statesThe ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:Leading mechanical design of building projectsDesigning supply, return, and exhaust systemsPerforming load calculations and/or energy modelingRevitDesigning plumbing systemsAt Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
