Insight Globals large manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team, specializing in switchgear wiring. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and components for switchgear wiring.
Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to switchgear wiring.
Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and assembly teams.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering and switchgear technology.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Knowledge of ISO9001 management systems.
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in the automotive or heavy machinery field.
Experience troubleshooting gears- need to be familiar with breakers, conduit, terminal blocks, relays, fuses, etc.
Experience reading schematics and blueprints.
Experience with wiring, routing, and terminations.
