Medical benefits after 30 days More local offices than other agenciessupport if you relocate Weekly pay through direct deposit Earn referral bonuses Machine Operator Job Description Set up and operate manual & semiautomatic machines for deburring, cleaning/washing, preserving, and packaging machined components Disassemble and assemble pins & rollers in Ring Gear Housing Assemblies per work orders Operate and maintain deburring equipment, engravers, washing machines, and rust-prevention equipment Verify workpiece dimensions using tape measures, go/no-go gauges, and calipers Complete setup sheets and production & quality logs to document all actions Follow Process Sheets, Process Maps, SOPs, and Poka-Yoke systems to meet production targets, quality standards, and lead-time requirements Run and maintain simple equipment such as bandsaws and small presses; cut barstock and tubestock for CNC machining areas Load/unload parts on simple machine processes under CNC machinist supervision Move inventory into proper stocking locations; maintain kanban quantities of blanks and raw materials Operate overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to stage material; perform manual lifting as required Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on assigned machinery; uphold 5S principles in the machine shop Empty trash, machined chips, scrap metal, and recyclables per environmental policies and maintain related logs Operate shop-floor equipment such as floor scrubbers, coolant recycling systems, and metal chip briquetters Assist shop cells and maintenance teams with general cleanup and exceptional 5S projects Enforce all manufacturing safety and regulatory policies and procedures Support other company initiatives/projects related to the machine shop as needed Machine Operator Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate simple machines and upkeep general machine cell functions Ability to read and interpret factory orders, shop schedules, blueprints, and engineering drawings Familiarity with basic measurement devices (tape measure, calipers, go/no-go gauges) OSHA 10 certification (preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
