Junior Estimator - Plumbing

We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Junior Estimator to join our plumbing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on plumbing experience and a strong interest in project estimation and management. Youll work closely with our Senior Estimators to support the preparation of cost estimates for a variety of plumbing projects.
MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing systems, including steam, water supply, drainage, and natural gas systems.

- Analyze job sites and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.

- Troubleshoot project details to identify potential challenges and propose cost-effective solutions.

- Calculate quantities of required materials including pipe, fittings, fixtures and equipment.

- Assist in calculating labor costs and coordinating with subcontractors if required.

- Monitor and help manage project costs throughout execution to ensure profitability.

- Stay up to date on new plumbing technologies, products, and industry standards.

- Collaborate with Senior Estimators, Project Managers, and clients to ensure estimate accuracy and successful project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior plumbing experience required.

- Knowledge of plumbing systems, steam systems, drainage systems, and natural gas systems.

- Strong analytical and math skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to learn and grow within the estimating and project management field.
