PLUMBING MECHANIC or JUNIOR MECHANIC Needed Full-Time

Established Queens Plumbing/Heating Company is seeking an experienced PLUMBING MECHANIC or JUNIOR MECHANIC for work in new construction and jobbing across NYC and Nassau County.

Must have working knowledge of:
Ability to read and understand plumbing/sprinkler plans
Repairs & troubleshooting
Water meter & backflow installations
New piping installations (water, gas, sanitary)
Sewer & drain systems
Boiler and heating installations

Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years experience (Junior Mechanic) / 6+ years (Mechanic)
Worker SST Card (minimum 40 hours of safety training) (mandatory)
Valid drivers license & Social Security number
Fluent in English (for communication)
Ability to lift heavy items when necessary
Strong work ethic, reliability, and neat work habits
Gas Work Qualification a plus
Must be professional and respectful with customers
