THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We are seeking a detail oriented and diligent Purchasing Agent to join our team. This person will negotiate vendor terms and pricing and handle the purchase of fixed assets. You will also assist with inventory management and operate with integrity and a professional demeanor.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

• Adhere to purchasing policies, processes and procedures
• Manage relationships with key supplier to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and contract adherence
• Negotiate vendor terms based on specific budget and schedule requirements
• Maintain inventory management system
• Source new vendors based on project needs
• Carry out warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures
• Assist with physical inventory when needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Should have 2+ years of Purchasing experience, healthcare preferred but not necessary
• Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Must be a team player and be able to work well independently
• You work well under pressure and are a thoughtful decision maker
• You’re always looking for ways to improve yourself, and the company, and are comfortable sharing feedback
