Civil Superintendent

At Master Paving Engineering you will be joining a passionate group of high performers specializing in Underground Utilities (Water, Sewer, Drainage) and Sitework. We are seeking a Superintendent with the ability to the accomplish the responsibilities listed below: Responsibilities 5 years minimum as a superintendent for heavy civil construction projects. Ability to manage the day-to-day field activities Knowledgeable with safety requirements and enforces our zero-tolerance policy. Ability to log and document all inspections Maintain daily paperwork such as daily logs, schedule updates and E-mail correspondence Manages and supervises all crews and personnel onsite, oversees quality of construction and work. Executes the proper performance of construction activities in accordance with contract specifications, drawings, schedule, budget, company policies, industry standards, applicable codes and requirements including OSHA guidelines. Assists the Project Manager in all aspects of the project Manages and supervises subcontractor work including concrete paving and asphalt paving, Surveyor layout. Inspects and approves work performed, and materials supplied Reviews and interprets plans, specifications and other contract documents related to all work on the project. Requirements Experience with earthwork and Underground utilities Have good communication skills with workers, fellow employees, and project managers.
