Job Summary

PeopleFun is seeking a Lead QA Analyst to support a new game through worldwide launch. You'll lead QA strategy, oversee testing, ensure quality standards, and coordinate efforts across teams to deliver a polished, high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own QA strategy and execution from development through worldwide launch, ensuring efficient, high-quality testing throughout the process.
  • Define and manage testing workflows, including the start and end dates of testing, the necessary tools and test plans, and the criteria for QA approval.
  • Track and drive bug resolution, stay involved in issue discussions, own key bugs, and help the team stay on schedule.
  • Plan ahead for each release, identifying tool, resource, and outsourcing needs early, and coordinating timelines with other teams.
  • Support and lead the QA team, assigning tasks based on strengths, onboarding new testers, and sharing tools and knowledge.
  • Keep QA efforts visible and evolving, providing regular updates, joining retros, and improving processes as project needs change.
  • Provide hands-on testing and executing on test plans.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional experience in video game quality assurance (mobile experience preferred).
  • 2+ years of professional experience leading QA teams across a product in different life cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a highly collaborative, cross-functional work environment with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and create organized, detail-oriented development roadmaps and schedules.

PeopleFun provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $72-$95k. Base compensation at PeopleFun is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
