Role Overview:
System One is partnering with one of our clients in search for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Play a pivotal role in shaping innovative mechanical solutions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in design engineering and collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine detailed mechanical designs utilizing advanced CAD software, ensuring precision and functionality.
• Conduct complex analytical calculations to inform and support design decisions, enhancing product performance.
• Employ mechanical inspection tools to verify product specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Engage in hands-on testing and validation of mechanical components within a lab environment, contributing to product reliability.
• Create comprehensive technical drawings and documentation, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to facilitate clear communication of design intent.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to assess design feasibility and manufacturability, driving project success.
• Actively participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis, demonstrating a strong track record of successful projects.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) with a solid understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
• Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools and techniques, with hands-on experience in a lab setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Relocation Requirements:

• Candidates must be able to commute to Owasso, OK or be willing to relocate before starting work.
